Each year, six youth are selected to represent Wisconsin at the National 4-H Conference in Washington D.C. in an intensive leadership development training. Club leaders are encouraged to nominate 4-H members who are ready for an indepth leadership experience.
This application is due September 28.
The Helen Holzer leaderhsip award is given yearly to two outstanding boys and two outstanding girls in the county. These members must have exhibited leaderhsip on the local level. This award is similar to the State Key Award, but given on the county level.
This application is due August 29.
The 4-H Leaders sponsor the Friend of 4-H award. This award will be made at the 4-H Leaders Banquet in September. It is suggested that a county person be honored at the banquet each year as a Friend of 4-H Club Work. Any individual who is not a certified 4-H leader who does much for the St. Croix County 4-H Program is eligible for this award. If there are enough qualified nominations, an award is given in each of the four 4-H Districts.
This application is due September 5th to the 4-H office.
The Farm Bureau Boy and Girl award is sponsored by the St. Croix County Farm Bureau Organization. Recipients of this award should be youth in Grades 8-10 who have demonstrated leaderhsip potential and overall achievement. Clubs may nominate 1 boy and 1 girl from their club. A member may receive this award only once.
This application is due August 29.
If you would like to nominate a club for one the awards in Recreation, Community Service, and Heath, Safety, Environment Education.
This application is due September 5.
