This folder is for the county award applications and nominations. The forms that are available for the 2008 season available in this folder. Please make sure you turn your application or nomination on time or it may not be accepted.

Application process for a 4-H trip requires an ME Cover Letter and a completed ME form submitted to the UW-Extension Office by 5 pm on November 1.

The Outstanding Livestock Award is meant to acknowledge any Livestock 4-H member who has demonstrated outstanding characteristics through their participation at the club or county level in their livestock project.
 
This application is due August 29.
To receive a Key award from the county, a 4-H member must nominate themselves and submit an ME form to be considered for selection by the Leaders Council.  The Leaders Council feels that there may be many outstanding graduating members who also deserve recognition for their achievements or accomplishments in 4-H.

The Outstanding Graduate Award is meant to acknowledge any graduating 4-H member (who meets 4-H policy for graduation) who has demonstrated Key characteristics through their participation at the club or county level.  There is no limit for the number of graduates you may nominate for this award.  Each graduating 4-Her nominated will receive an engraved plaque.
 
This application is due August 29. 

Each year, six youth are selected to represent Wisconsin at the National 4-H Conference in Washington D.C. in an intensive leadership development training.  Club leaders are encouraged to nominate 4-H members who are ready for an indepth leadership experience.

This application is due September 28. 

The Helen Holzer leaderhsip award is given yearly to two outstanding boys and two outstanding girls in the county. These members must have exhibited leaderhsip on the local level.  This award is similar to the State Key Award, but given on the county level.

This application is due August 29.

The 4-H Leaders sponsor the Friend of 4-H award. This award will be made at the 4-H Leaders Banquet in September.  It is suggested that a county person be honored at the banquet each year as a Friend of 4-H Club Work.  Any individual who is not a certified 4-H leader who does much for the St. Croix County 4-H Program is eligible for this award.  If there are enough qualified nominations, an award is given in each of the four 4-H Districts.

This application is due September 5th to the 4-H office.

The Florence Jensen Leadership Award is given yearly to two outstanding boys and two outstanding girls in the county. These members must have exhibited leadership on the County Level.  This award is similar to the State Key Award, but given on the county level.

file icon Farm Bureau Boy and Girl AwardTooltip 08/23/2008 Hits: 23

The Farm Bureau Boy and Girl award is sponsored by the St. Croix County Farm Bureau Organization.  Recipients of this award should be youth in Grades 8-10 who have demonstrated leaderhsip potential and overall achievement.  Clubs may nominate 1 boy and 1 girl from their club.  A member may receive this award only once.

This application is due August 29.
