DEPT. 8 - RABBITS HEALTH REQUIREMENTS All animals exhibiting at the fair must be free of any contagious, infectious, or communicable disease.
GENERAL RULES 1. Exhibitors are limited to no more than 6 animals (6 animal exhibits plus showmanship is acceptable) 2. An entry will consist of one rabbit unless otherwise noted. 3. Exhibitors may show only one exhibit in each lot number. 4. Rabbit judging starts after the cavies class on Friday 5. SOMEONE MUST SHOW THE EXHIBIT. RABBITS NOT BROUGHT TO THE TABLE FOR JUDGING WILL RECEIVE A PINK PREMIUM. 6. Danish judging will be used 7. Explorers may exhibit one animal in the showmanship class ONLY 8. ALL ANIMALS MUST HAVE WATER BOTTLES. ANY EXHIBIT LEFT WITHOUT WATER FOR LONGER THAN 1 HOUR WILL HAVE PREMIUM PULLED.

CLASS E - MARKET Open to any exhibits in addition to A,B,C & D entries. Lot No. 1. Meat pen - to consist of three animals all of same breed and variety. Rabbits may not be over 69 days and not over 5 lbs. These rabbits may not be entered in any other lot number. 2. Single fryer - Rabbit cannot be over 69 days or over 5 lbs. in weight. May not be entered in any other lot number. 3. Roaster - A single rabbit, either sex, between 70 and 180 days of age and over 5 lbs. Rabbit may not be entered in any other lot number. Reserve Grand Champion Market Entry - Ribbon Grand Champion Market Entry – Ribbon CLASS F - RABBIT SHOWMANSHIP Premiums: Blue $3.00 Red $2.50 White $2.00 Pink $1.50 - Explorers are required to attend two county meetings in order to participate - Rabbit used for showmanship cannot be a different rabbit than entered above, except in Explorer Showmanship Lot No. 1. Explorer Showmanship 2. Beginners (Grades 4 - 5) 3. Intermediate (Grades 6 - 8) --- be prepared to answer all questions about rabbits 4.
