LEATHER - Open only to members enrolled in the Leather Craft Project - Member may exhibit 3 articles - Use the following criteria in deciding what type of articles to bring: a) If bringing the same items, they must be completed using different techniques (example: a member wants to make 2 belts, one could be stamped, another tooled. b) Three different items may be exhibited using the same technique (example: a coin purse, a belt, and a billfold all done using the stamping technique) c) Any combination of the above - Kits, stains and dye may be used - Original designs are encouraged

- Exhibits must be kiln-fired with ceramic glazes applied. Green ware (un-fired clay) is not acceptable. Exhibits may be of original design and crafted ceramic project or commercial mold un-fired clay items may be used and then painted, stained, decorated, glazed and fired as the item calls for. - All ceramic exhibits are required to have initials and date etched visible on the bottom of the exhibit, or exhibit will be dropped one ribbon placing - Use the following criteria in deciding what type of articles to bring: a) If bringing the same items they must be completed using different techniques (example: a member wants to make 3 rabbits, 1 could be stained, 2nd dry-brushed, and the 3rd glazed) b) Three different items may be exhibited using the same technique (example: a rabbit, a dragon, and a bear using the dry-brushed technique) c) Any combination of above

CLASS D – DRAWING - Open to Youth enrolled in the Drawing and Painting project - Limit of 4 exhibits. - Medias used may include: pens, pencils, markers, pastels, charcoal, etc. - Use the following criteria in deciding what type of articles to bring: a) If bringing the same items they must be completed using different medias (example: a member wants to draw 3 rabbits, 1 could be in pencil, 2nd in pastels , and the 3rd in charcoal) d) Three different items may be exhibited using the same technique (example: a rabbit, a dragon, and a bear using pastels) e) Any combination of above - Entries should be mounted on tag board, poster board or framed. Member is encouraged to protect art work (framing, laminating, protective sheet, tag board frame with clear plastic). - Exhibit must be dated and signed

CLASS E – PAINTING Open to Youth enrolled in the Drawing and Painting Project - Limit of 4 exhibits - Materials used may include: water color, acrylics, oils, etc. - Use the following criteria in deciding what type of articles to bring: a)If bringing the same items they must be completed using different medias (example: a member wants to draw 3 rabbits, 1 in oil, 2nd in acrylic , and the 3rd in water color) b) Three different items may be exhibited using the same technique (example: a rabbit, a dragon, and a bear using oils) c) Any combination of above - Exhibit MUST be dated and signed - Entries should be mounted on tag board, poster board or framed. Member is encouraged to protect art work (framing, laminating, protective sheet, tag board frame with clear plastic).
